As you'll see I paint primarily in oils, occasionally in acrylic and also produce hand-cut collages and that I am influenced by Surrealism. The core of my inspiration comes from the sense of magic I experience when I see the intertwined worlds and infinate layers found in nature,the subjects that appear are usually within eyesight of my current location of Northumberland. You'll find many of my favourite subjects like birds, snails or trees but my compositions also reflect what I see in my imagination. It's a mixture of imagination and observation.
